'Sup.

This is Emily, and I have just had the epiphany that our family blog is becoming all about Collin. Not to say that that's not extremely important and interesting to us all, but here's what the rest of us are doing:

Last weekend we all drove to Santa Monica and while I went to Regional Honor Choir practice for twelve hours (yep, it was exhausting) the rest of our family had a wonderful time going to Disneyland. Melissa even went on California Screamin'! But the biggest highlight of her day was undoubtedly when, after waiting 45 minutes in line with Dad, she met Tinkerbell, Fawn, and Silvermist in Pixie Hollow and got ALL THREE of their autographs. When Tinkerbell saw the fairy pendant around Melissa's neck, she remarked "Oh! Is that me?" which Melissa will tell you delightedly if you ask about it.
That was Friday; on Saturday I went to more rehearsal while our family drove around looking at houses or something. You'll have to hear the details later. At four, they picked me up from Santa Monica High School (Or Samohi, as it has long been called) and we got pizza and I changed. Then we went back for an amazing concert.
That's all I can think of to write right now; we are looking forward to a great Thanksgiving. Check out my blog for more info about Honor Choir later!

News from Collin

In Collin's most recent letters he tells us that he thinks he's gained 10 pounds. He tells us that he does 160 push-ups every other day and 60 curls with a bar. The other days they do abs and whatever. They ride bikes a minimum of 5 miles a day. They continue to teach the family that was recently baptized all about the priesthood, temples, etc. They are still very excited about it all. Collin reached his 3 month mark on the 13th of November. Wow. I miss him more now than I did when he left. I look forward to the Christmas day phone call with much excitement. Can hardly wait. All seems to be well and he's just doing missionary things. He or his comp will most likely be transferred on the 25th. Not sure whether he's up for that or not. Not much else to say so I'll post!

Collin the Texan.

How 'bout these pics? Collin sent these today. Here's what he said. A texas missionary. in theory. we dont really dress like this, but its fun. and the belt buckle.
love,
Elder Brown

Everything was going well and he actually called this belt buckle "sweet." He thought they might go fishing today. (Can they do that?) He also thought that either he or his comp would be transferred on the next transfer date. He is turning into a real TEXAN! I think he looks like his Grandpa Frank. Especially with that hat on. Yee Haw!
